About the nasal septumㅡ

I’ve had two nose surgeries, but they never harvested ear cartilage, and only put silicone in the nasal bridge. I hadn’t had the nasal tip done. But at all the clinics I’ve been to so far, after looking at the CT, they said there was no nasal septal cartilage left and that I would need either autologous costal cartilage or donated costal cartilage, so I thought that must be the caseㅡ But at the clinic I went to today, they said I do have nasal septal cartilage. It was the first time. I even started wondering if all the clinics I’d gone to so far said there was none because I wouldn’t know even if I looked at the CTㅡ We’d have to open it up to know for sure, but they said if there is nasal septal cartilage, they’ll use that, and if it’s insufficient, they’ll use donated costal cartilage. What each clinic says is really so differentㅡ I’m curious whether you can tell from a CT whether there is nasal septal cartilageㅡ
