Because my surgery looks so obvious, I’m planning to remove the Gore-Tex, lower the height, and switch to silicone. I’ve had consultations at three places so far, and only one mentioned dermis from behind the ear. They said the show-through would improve, but I heard dermis gets absorbed later. I know it depends on the person, so it might not be completely absorbed, but is there anyone here whose thin skin on the nasal bridge was supplemented using dermis from behind the ear? I think I do need to lower it for now, and I’m tempted because they said they’d use dermis, but I’m wondering whether that would really improve it much. The other two places said the skin on my nasal bridge is thin, so even if I lower the nasal bridge...
