After living for over 10 years with an L-shaped silicone nose implant, I had it removed over a year ago because contracture was suspected due to the nasal tip lifting, redness, foreign-body sensation, etc. My nose now is neither my original nose nor a surgically enhanced nose, but a third kind of nose lol At first, after removal, it was hard to accept this new ugly nose, so daily life was difficult. But now that about a year has passed, I’ve gotten somewhat used to the shape of my nose, and compared with the beginning, the swelling seems to have gone down a bit.
