Is there anyone here who had an autologous costal cartilage strut and then had it removed? My skin is extremely thin, so the cartilage at my nasal tip shows through too much, and I’m looking into removal or revision surgery. Autologous costal cartilage is nice because it doesn’t sag, but for people with thin skin like me, it seems to show through. I didn’t even know my skin was thin. Since autologous costal cartilage is originally strong and thick, I’m worried that if I remove the strut, my nasal tip might become dented or collapseㅠ Has anyone here had an autologous costal cartilage or rib cartilage strut method and then had it removed?
