No, this is my third nose surgery, and I’m planning to remove everything completely. I looked it up now, and apparently the anesthesia is done by putting you under sedation for 10-15 minutes, doing local anesthesia during that time, and then during the surgery you’re awake and conscious. Up through my second surgery, I was sedated the whole time during surgery, so I naturally thought it would be done that way, but suddenly I’m so scared. Of course I know local anesthesia is safer, so I’m not going to cancel the surgery because of this, but what if I get so scared that I mentally fall apart? Everyone who has had anesthesia done this way, how was it
