I had surgery with a combination of septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and costal cartilage, but the height doesn’t match and the columella is crooked, so I think I’ll need revision surgery. I’m wondering whether I can find out how much septal cartilage was harvested during the first surgery if I go to the hospital and get a CT scan. A lot of people say you can’t know, and doctors also say things like they only know after opening it up, so I’m wondering if that’s really true. I’m going for a consultation with Director Kim Ji-hoon tomorrow, and I’ve looked into about 4 other clinics too, but surely they won’t be completely unable to know.
