Surgery Review <1>

Friday, May 26 I went in for a consultation at 10:30 a.m. and had surgery at 12:00.. -_-;; (3mm silicone + ear cartilage for the tip + open approach) Actually, my nose wasn’t especially low.. but my forehead is totally like Kim Tae-hee’s forehead.. it really sticks out.. so comparatively the area between my brows looked low.. I wanted to correct that.. and my nasal tip is round and cute like Chae-rim’s.. I had been preparing a ton of material from this community here.. Then suddenly!! I heard that a friend of a coworker got eye and nose surgery somewhere in Gangnam and became incredibly pretty in just one month~ The moment I heard that.. As if possessed by something, I ran straight there.. and ended up doing the deed.. -_-;;;; (I think because I had already said in advance that I was going to have surgery after the consultation.. the consultation with the doctor was a bit sloppy.. He only said he would raise the bridge with 3mm of silicone and refine the tip with ear cartilage!!) Anyway, and so.. The surgery began.. ------------------------------------------------- Originally, they said they would do it with local anesthesia only.. But I said I was scared and would like sedation anesthesia.. Then they said that when they give the anesthetic injection.. that part hurts, so they would make me sleep only for that moment..? ------------------------------------------------- First.. they gave an anesthetic injection in my right ear and seemed to remove cartilage.. But.. what in the world~! I wasn’t falling asleep~ So I quietly asked, "Doctor.. why am I not falling asleep at all..? Is this normal..?" The doctor said, "It’s normal that you’re not falling asleep!! You’ll only sleep before the anesthetic injection in your nose.." "Ah~ okay~~ -_-;;;;" ------------------------------------------------ A little later, nose surgery started.. The doctor said, "Count to ten" "One, two............................................................" At that moment, suddenly.. I was riding a roller coaster and getting sucked into an unknown country.. I guess on the radio, Son Bum-soo and his wife were on and doing something.. In that unknown country, when I was riding the roller coaster, Son Bum-soo & Jin Yang-hae appeared and waved at me, or rode with me.. something like that.. ^^;; Anyway.. I kept getting sucked into that strange country and coming back out, repeating it, and then at the end my body suddenly shot upward~! Then I heard something like the doctor saying, "Let’s see, we got to about ten". So that must have been what people meant when they said they experienced the fourth dimension under sedation anesthesia.. After that, the nose surgery continued.. I didn’t know it hurt.. I could just feel the skin being pulled tight and things like that.. At the end, when they were stitching under my nose.. it stung a little.. I don’t think the surgery itself was scary.. ----------------------------------------------- They said there might be bleeding up to two days after the surgery.. Don’t blow your nose.. just wipe away what flows out.. They didn’t really tell me any other precautions after that.. So I followed what I’d heard here.. I did lots of cold compresses.. Kept my head elevated when sleeping.. (I slept on a sofa chair for all five days.. -_-v) Drank pumpkin juice + boiled corn silk juice diligently.. And for five straight days, I ate nothing but pumpkin porridge until I was sick of it.. Maybe because of that, the big swelling seemed to go down faster than other people’s.. To anyone who has surgery.. it’s hard, but please sleep sitting up for about five days.. (It was actually fine to sleep with my head on the sofa backrest..) For me, I think sleeping like that and only drinking pumpkin juice and eating pumpkin porridge was effective.. I really tend to get inflammation easily, my wounds don’t heal well, I scar easily, and I swell a lot, so I worried a lot after surgery.. but the really ugly big swelling was gone in just five days.. ^^v ------------------------------------------------- From now on, in my written reviews.. I’ll post the progress day by day.. I took photos before surgery.. I was going to post before-and-after comparisons, but because I had surgery so suddenly.. I didn’t take the photos.. That part is a little disappointing.. For reference.. right now.. I’m completely stressed out by a c-shaped curved nasal bridge.. the area between my brows is too high, and the tip is so low it looks like nothing was done to it at all.. ㅜㅜ ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ Sorry, but I can’t answer messages asking where I had the surgery.. (sorry.. -_-;;) Everyone’s body type is different and everyone’s nose shape is different.. I don’t want that hospital to be harmed because of posts saying my nose looks crooked and only the bridge looks high.. Just.. I think it would be enough to know that there are people who had surgery and ended up like this.. I asked someone who had surgery at that hospital a month earlier and became incredibly pretty.. and they said it takes more than three months for the nose to fully settle, and only then would the crooked-looking part of the nose improve.. ㅜㅜ -------------------------------------------------- Also.. for those of you who are planning surgery.. please keep this in mind.. The starting point of the silicone must not be too high above the space between the eyes!! Absolutely not!!! In my case.. the starting point of the silicone is much higher than the space between my eyes.. it starts right under my eyebrows.. I had no sense at all of where the silicone should start, so I didn’t even mention that part to the doctor.. I thought, since he’s the expert, he would just do it properly on his own~ but.. because the starting point of the silicone is too high.. I look completely like a lion.. ㅜㅜ Please, everyone who is planning surgery, take this seriously.. Don’t make the silicone starting point too high.
