My nose had a hump reduction and osteotomy, so I think the nasal valve may also be affected. I’m considering a spreader graft too, but some people actually got worse after doing it, so I’m really torn and scared. Is there anyone here whose breathing improved after removing a septal extension graft because of nasal obstruction? The left side of my nose, where the septal extension was placed, feels like there’s a foreign body every time I breathe. I can breathe, but it feels uncomfortable somehow. And when I blow my nose hard, the right side is fine, but on the left side it feels like the protruding alar cartilage above is wobbling, or like there’s a booger stuck there. The foreign-body sensation is seriously awful.

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
