Hi, I’m posting again at 5 months after removal. For my first surgery, I had donated costal cartilage, silicone, and ear cartilage used. At 2–3 weeks after surgery, I had open irrigation because of blood pooling, and 4 weeks after that, so at 7 weeks after the first surgery, I had everything removed because of inflammation. Right after the removal, my nasal tip became shorter, my columella retracted, and my nostrils became very visible, turning into an upturned nose. The doctor had told me that would happen, and I knew it too, so I think I just calmly waited for revision surgery. But from around 3 months after removal, I did feel my nose gradually recovering. As the tissues inside my nose recovered, the flesh filled back in…
