Review of Consultations for My First-Ever Eye and Nose Surgery at ㅇㄴ

ㅇㄴ Plastic Surgery Clinic (Director ㄱㅅㅎ) The first plastic surgery clinic I visited

* Pleasant building * As soon as I arrived: CT scan - consultation with the consultant - consultation with the director (took 40 minutes total)

- The consultant said it seemed like I would need certain things for my eyes and nose, but that we should first consult with the director and then decide - During the consultation with the director, the consultant standing next to me actively encouraged me to ask anything I was curious about - Even after the director’s consultation ended, the consultant said, “You wrote various things down in your memo pad, right? If you show me, I’ll answer everything I can,” and answered additional things I had been too flustered to ask during the director’s consultation

[Eyes] Natural adhesion double eyelid + fat removal + upper canthoplasty + epicanthoplasty = Total 154

- Because I have a lot of flesh on my upper eyelids, they first said an incision method might be needed, but after checking the line, they said natural adhesion might also be possible - They recommended epicanthoplasty because I have epicanthal folds and the space between my eyes is slightly wide

[Nose] Silicone to make the columella protrude + donated costal cartilage (bulbous nose correction) = Total 396

- My nose is really a handful, but surprisingly, maybe because alar reduction involves an incision? Anyway, they didn’t recommend anything involving an incision, and suggested silicone to make the columella protrude and raising the nasal tip - They said the bridge near the glabella is completely sunken with no height at all, and that my overall nose length is also on the shorter side - They asked whether I wanted it glamorous? Natural? I said I wanted it to be noticeable, and they understood - After touching my ears, they said my ears are actually a bit small so harvesting cartilage might be difficult, and they mulled it over and muttered about twice that donated costal cartilage would probably be better

The total was 570, but I gathered my courage and pleaded, asking if they could take 20 off, and they said if I confirmed the surgery, they would do it at that price (so if I go through with it, it seems I can get eyes+nose together for 550)

※ 1. I initially only booked the eyes and planned to think about the nose more before confirming it, so I only paid the eye deposit and came home. But I felt like I had decided too hastily, so I requested a refund the same day, and they said there was a 30,000 won cancellation penalty. (I had been told there was a penalty, but I hadn’t signed anything and had only heard it verbally.) 2. I objected, asking why it would cost 30,000 won when I booked and canceled on the same day, and only then did they say they would just refund me, and that after I received the full refund, if I still wanted to do it again, they would try to let me keep the same conditions, so I could contact them anytime

No consultation fee / Deposit 10% / They don’t force the deposit, but there is a suggestive sales tone like “If you book today, this price~” / They give a big discount on the condition that you provide photos for posting a review on an app / You come in the day after surgery, after one week, and after two weeks; from week one, swelling treatment is available when visiting / Revision surgery is possible if there is a problem within 1 year, but anesthesia fees are separate / Aftercare 1 year / I forgot to ask whether there is a separate anesthesiologist (f***).
