Ha, I really didn’t think I’d come back to this community again. I’m writing this with a heavy heart. It has been 4 years since I removed an L-shaped silicone implant. At the time of removal, my side-effect symptoms were mild, so no capsule removal was done. The hospital where I had the plastic surgery said they had taken ear cartilage, but they didn’t know whether they inserted it or not. I had the removal done at a hospital famous for removals, and they said that if possible ear cartilage had adhered, they wouldn’t necessarily remove it. They removed it with a closed approach, and the removal was finished in 5 minutes, so I think they probably didn’t even check the ear cartilage and just left it. In passing, they said they had removed the ear cartilage too…
