All I had placed was a support strut, but maybe because the strut went in so firmly fixed in place, the foreign body sensation I feel every time I smile or make a big facial expression is so severe that daily life is really difficult. I didn’t have septal extension, but if I compare it only to other people’s written descriptions, even with just my ear cartilage support strut, I feel almost the same degree of hardness and foreign body sensation as septal extension. I know removal is always case by case and person by person, but still, if I remove it, does the foreign body sensation definitely disappear or get much better?
