Over 10 years ago, I had rhinoplasty with Gore-Tex, and this time I’m planning to remove it while getting revision surgery because the implant is showing through. But while searching, I saw that Gore-Tex seems more difficult to remove than silicone because of issues like capsule removal during the removal surgery. Does capsule removal depend on each doctor’s skill level? I’m looking again at places that also do functional nose surgery, and I’m also wondering whether plastic surgery clinics might be better at the capsule removal part. The more I look into it, the harder it feels, so I’m worried.
