It was my first functional cosmetic surgery, but I didn’t like it from the time the splint came off. And when I smiled, a horizontal wrinkle formed on my philtrum, so I waited impatiently for 6 months to pass, then had removal surgery at 6 months and 1 day. I had it done at the original hospital, and they removed the functional immediate mesh and ear cartilage, and repositioned the septum back to its original place. Today is day 2, and it hurts so much, like someone punched my nose. The swelling around my eyes is also severe, so I need to do a lot of compresses and walking. I feel relieved. Since there seem to be many people considering removal, I’ll keep posting reviews …
