I’ll only know the details after going to a hospital but even if I get revision surgery, I can’t take a long break, so I’m thinking in the direction of only replacing the silicone. For people whose silicone is showing through, who have chronic inflammation, or who are in the early stage of contracture, would it be much better to just switch to another material rather than using silicone again? If I do autologous costal cartilage surgery, the cost, aftercare, and everything else feel too burdensome, so I want to leave that as a last resort for a few years later. Has anyone here only replaced the silicone?
