I had closed rhinoplasty with silicone and ear cartilage, and inflammation kept occurring periodically near the nasal tip, so I had surgery to remove the silicone, but the ear cartilage was not removed. It has been a long time since the removal surgery, and these days I want to have rhinoplasty again, so I’m looking into it. I’m curious what material people who had inflammation use for the nasal bridge when they get revision surgery I’m scared that if I use silicone, inflammation will happen again, but costal cartilage doesn’t seem to be used often for the nasal bridge, and they say autologous dermis has absorption and the downside of spreading. What material do you recommend?
