4 years ago, while getting surgery for a deviated nasal septum, I also had correction of a crooked nose and a hump nose. I know that a little septal cartilage was put in the nasal tip and 3 mm silicone was used. Early this year, there was inflammation around the silicone, but it got better after I took antibiotics. This is just how I feel, but it also seems like my nose has lifted very slightly. It could just be my own thought. When I went to the hospital where I had surgery for a removal consultation, they kept trying to persuade me not to remove it, saying there was no inflammation or other problem, and that if I removed it, my nose could lift like a pig nose and no one knows what would happen.
