Square jaw and front chin, 20 days after scalp-incision cheekbone surgery~

Hello~~ My younger sibling had surgery first (cheekbones, square jaw), and I also had cheekbones, square jaw, and front chin surgery (a surgery to shorten the long chin) at that same hospital. Today makes it 21 days. While I was recovering and reducing the swelling after surgery, my younger sibling came to my house and took care of me. It feels like just a little while ago that we were laughing and chatting, but time really does fly. From the very first day of surgery, I think I ate much better and recovered faster than my sibling. We laughed so much with our faces all puffed up that we even laughed while holding onto the fixed cheekbones, worried something might go wrong. My son teased me, saying, "Are you really that excited about having surgery?" ;; The doctor did not particularly recommend surgery on my front chin because it looked long, but I was bothered by it, so I went ahead with it. Because of that area, there was some pain and the swelling lasted longer too. The doctor said it was originally a sensitive area and that recovery there is slower, but these days the pain has eased and the other swelling seems to have gone down much faster than my younger sibling's. At first my daughter asked why I had surgery, but these days, now that the swelling has gone down a lot, she says I did well to have the surgery and that once all the swelling is gone I'll be pretty. ^^ Since there's still some residual swelling, my face looks like it has more flesh than it used to, even though I naturally have a thin face. It feels a little sad to see the swelling go down. Two days ago, my younger sibling's husband came by and said, "Where did you hide the two eggs on my sister-in-law's face?" lol He said I was pretty. I didn't really know anything and hadn't studied it, so I went first after watching my younger sibling have surgery, just following along. Since my younger sibling is the type to think carefully about everything and seemed to have studied for a long time before deciding, I didn't doubt it and took the leap myself even at my age, and now that I think about it, I think I really made the right choice. At this age, I was worried a lot about whether I could really endure that difficult major surgery and get back up safely, though I didn't show it....... My younger sibling said that once all the swelling is gone, my face might even be smaller and look younger than theirs, haha. My younger sibling keeps nagging me to chew carefully and not eat too much, and I'm a little worried that I might be eating too well, but anyway, I'm recovering well. I'm a grandma almost turning fifty the day after tomorrow, so I don't know if it's okay for me to be this brave. There may be people who mock me, saying, "Why have surgery? Just live your life and die when it's time." But you only live once,,,, I wanted to live this not-so-long life doing the things I wanted to try, haha. That said, I'm absolutely not encouraging surgery. I do think that if it's truly necessary, surgery might help you find confidence. I want to spend the rest of my life escaping the shadow of my cheekbones and living while only worrying about other things now. I hope everyone stays healthy and has a good holiday^^*
