During my first functional rhinoplasty, they used septal cartilage that had been harvested. I thought they had simply used the harvested cartilage to raise the nasal tip, but they had harvested everything except 1 cm of the septal L-strut and used it for extension My removal surgery is coming up, and I'm debating whether I should completely remove the extension or remove only the extended portion In my heart, I want to remove it all, but I'm also worried about possible trauma risk, and I feel like it could droop as I get older. If there is saddle nose or collapse after complete removal, reconstruction would only be possible with costal cartilage If only the extension portion is removed, the shape would be compensated to some extent and it also wouldn't collapse…
