I’m still in a splint, so I can’t really tell yet, but the columella was a little crooked and looked asymmetric, so they corrected it using septal cartilage, and removed all the silicone and ear cartilage haha. I feel so relieved… Just roughly looking at the height from below, I think it’s similar to my natural nose. They said the previous hospital had shaved down my nasal bridge too much, so they reinforced the columella and used the remaining septal cartilage to graft onto the nasal bridge to improve it. They showed me all the silicone, cartilage, and capsule they removed, and it was seriously gross. I was shocked that something like that had been inside my face… And they said my capsule was on the thicker side, and the reason was an inflammatory reaction…
