I have nasal tip cartilage show-through, so I’m planning revision surgery. I think the surgery I had before was done through a closed approach, with several layers of cartilage stacked in. I’m currently getting consultations at several places, and they say it would probably be advantageous to build a columellar strut with ear cartilage, do a thin cap graft, and reinforce with artificial dermis. They also told me to think about it because as I age, my nasal tip will droop, and it would be good to consider the aesthetic side even a little. But I’m worried that if a strut is built, more pressure will be applied, so maybe it will show through even more. Everyone, please share your thoughts too❤️ Thanks in advance…
