In mid-July, I had revision rhinoplasty, donated costal cartilage, revision epicanthoplasty, fat grafting to the front cheeks, nasolabial folds, and forehead, a mini lift, and three types of facial contouring. One week later, after removing the nasal splint, my nose became red and swollen right the next day, so I went to the clinic and got an anti-inflammatory injection. It seemed to be settling down, but the inflammation came back again. On the 34th day after surgery, they opened my nose, irrigated it, and replaced the donated costal cartilage and silicone as well. I also didn’t like the shape, so they did shape correction too. They said the reason for the inflammation was that oil from fat that had not engrafted in my forehead flowed down and pooled in my nose. Just the nasal irrigation took over an hour…
