One month after nose surgery, my nose is so blocked. It keeps alternating between being blocked and opening up. There are times when breathing is okay, but when it gets bad, it’s so hard that I feel like I want to die. Appearance-wise, it’s pretty and I’m satisfied, but I guess my mucous membrane got badly damaged. I think there’s a lot of swelling too. But what if this is a side effect? I originally never knew what rhinitis or nasal congestion felt like at all, but if I could turn back time, I would absolutely turn it back and stop myself from saying I was going to get the surgery. They say it takes 36 months for the mucous membrane to fully recover, but how am I supposed to spend such a long time like this? Every day, every minute and every second feels suffocating…
