I was scared of the usual jaw-cheekbone surgery, so I chose laser surgery.. The usual surgery uses general anesthesia, they put a tube down your throat, and I heard they also insert a urinary catheter<?>.. So I heard your throat hurts a lot and the swelling lasts a long time.. (The opinions above were something I heard from someone I know, so I'm not sure ;;) Laser surgery uses sedation anesthesia and they don't insert a tube.. There were people who could go back to daily life within a week.. So I decided to go with laser.. Right now my throat feels scratchy and a little sore, and the swelling still isn't there yet .. I heard that usually it swells a lot after one day.. And I also had a surgery called Miracle.. People say the skin sags a lot after jaw-cheekbone surgery The surgery called Miracle is a procedure that lifts the sagging, so they said I could get more of the jaw-cheekbone surgery effect and also prevent the skin from sagging, so I had it done.. I won't know the result until I take off the bandages.. But I slightly lifted the bandage and looked at my cheekbones.. And there aren't no cheekbones at all..
