Consultation Review for Contracted Nose

My nasal tip is currently red and I do have some pain, and it feels like the nasal tip is slightly lifted. When I looked it up, these symptoms were said to be typical symptoms of contracture, so I booked consultations in advance at 3 clinics that could see me quickly and went to them. I’ve decided on the clinic where I’ll have surgery, but I haven’t made the reservation yet. I do want to visit ㅅㅇ or ㄱㅇㅅ too, but getting a reservation is tough. I’m planning to think it over a little more and then book the surgery.

ㅊㅁ (ㅏㅣㄴ) The director had a very meticulous style. They explained everything about the nose one by one, including what condition my nose is currently in and how the surgery should be done to improve both the shape and function. I felt like they explained things well and easily, like the explanation was easy to understand. They mentioned removing the silicone and either cartilage repositioning or complete removal, and said that if they open the nose and the condition is very bad, I should consider complete removal as well. They said they would explain this part again before surgery too, and the before-and-after photos they showed looked like they shaped the nose naturally.

ㅅㅅㅇ(ㅓㅏㅇㅜ) The director felt like they had a safety-first style. They said it is contracture and there is inflammation too, so we should touch as little as possible and make the shape safely. They said to remove the bridge implant, and instead of costal cartilage or anything like that, they talked about repositioning with the septal cartilage and ear cartilage I already have. If I have surgery here, I feel like I’d have to let go of my aesthetic ambitions? But I liked that they spoke honestly, and they answered the questions I asked well. The consultant also didn’t pressure me to book and treated me well.

ㅇㄷ(ㅟㅡ) Before going to the consultation, I watched all their YouTube videos. I found them pretty entertaining, to the point that I felt a kind of one-sided familiarity with the director.. If they were high-energy on YouTube, during the consultation they looked at my case quite seriously. They said it is contracture, and because of the inflammation I need to take medication too. Since the contracture is progressing, they recommended quick surgery. They recommended silicone removal and cartilage repositioning, and although the consultation was similar to the one with the director at ㅅㅅㅇ, it was a bit more detailed. They drew pictures of the nose shape before and after surgery and explained it, and rather than just talking about removal, they also asked about the nose shape I wanted, whether it would be possible, and said we should look for the best method. They also answered the questions I asked well. They didn’t recommend unnecessary surgery and said I didn’t need to do things that weren’t necessary, that it would be enough without them. What I remember is their choice of words during the consultation? I guess that’s how to put it. They weren’t just blurting things out, but seemed to try to phrase things as nicely as possible.
