Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Nose surgery today :) A fairly detailed review ㅠㅜ

I had surgery today at 11 a.m. I wasn’t nervous at all until I lay down on the operating table, but from the moment they put the pulse monitor on my finger, I really started shaking ㅠㅜ The sound that seemed like my pulse was so fast, I was a bit embarrassed hahaha Since people here had talked a lot about sedation anesthesia, I wanted to experience it too, thinking, ‘Now I’m in a hallucinating state ^ㅡ^,’ so I closed my eyes and got ready to feel it, but what the heck, they gave me a really painful local anesthetic injection, and when I started tearing up, the doctor just said things like, ‘You’re so good, you’re not even screaming’.. haha Far from falling asleep, I could hear all the clattering sounds of the surgical instruments, so it felt kind of anticlimactic.....ㅡㅡ Anyway, two or three anesthetic injections in the ear, about eight anesthetic injections in the nose..... It was re~~~~ally painful. I’m the type who often gets told I have a high pain tolerance wherever I go, but even clenching my teeth and enduring it, tears came out. Especially the injection into the thin skin under the nose around the nostrils... haha When they harvested the ear cartilage, it didn’t feel that unpleasant, but the sound of bone shaving is kind of uncomfortable.. ha They were grinding the bone with something like, what is it, a tool used to scrape gum stuck to the floor ㅡㅡ I have a slight hump nose, so they shaved the middle of the nasal dorsum. And that “deep aching~~~~” feeling when the silicone went into my nose.. I don’t think I’ll ever forget it haha Rough surgery order lol Trimming nose hair -> disinfecting nose and ear -> ear anesthesia -> harvesting ear cartilage -> nose anesthesia -> nasal bone shaving -> building the nasal columella (Medpor and ear cartilage) -> silicone insertion After coming home, I’ve been doing cold compresses now and then (I’m lazy, so I can’t really keep up with it ㅠㅜ) I took the oral medication, and until before the afternoon there wasn’t any swelling, and only my eyes were pulled together pretty severely, but in the afternoon my ear gradually started throbbing, and by evening the ear became a little better, and my whole nose feels heavy and bruised. (I don’t know whether there’s actually bruising or not) There is also very slight bruising starting on both sides of my eyes.. There’s no swelling or anything. Maybe because it’s the first day. I’m really scared for tomorrow. My eyes are pulled forward severely, and it looks bad Does this eye crowding return to normal? It feels like the doctor pulled it and sutured it that way.. Because I had epicanthoplasty before, it really looks unsightly.... My mom also cursed, saying my looks are ruined... Anyway, I’ll try uploading photos too. For those with nose surgery coming up, please just use this as a reference, like ‘So this is how it is’ :)
