I had an appointment at 4, so I left home at 2:50 to take the bus; I arrived a little early and was waiting, but the doctor was still in surgery;; After waiting, my surgery started around 4:45. Before that, we had one more consultation about the line. The surgery... started, and while I was lying on the operating table waiting for the doctor, I was shaking so much. I wanted to run away, wondered what on earth I was doing, and was scared that I could never go back to my previous face... From the moment they applied disinfectant to my face, I braced myself. Since it was already irreversible -_-;; I kept repeating to myself to relax my body so I wouldn’t bruise. The doctor drew the line on my eyelid (I thought it was the anesthetic injection, so I got a bit tense;;;), and finally the terrifying anesthesia began.. People saying it doesn’t hurt are all lyingㅠㅠ It definitely hurts. It’s bearable... but I had 4 shots per side; It is bearable, but if they told me to do it again, I wouldn’t want to.. -_- Especially the epicanthoplasty area hurt a bit more.; After the anesthesia finally finished, the surgery began. I couldn’t feel anything on my upper eyelids, but something was being cut snip snip. At that moment it tingled and hurt a bit.; Other than that, it just felt unpleasant and my head hurt because it was pressed down so much; there wasn’t much sensation. I could tell things like, something is being stitched, something is being cut, and so on.... Having the nurse tightly hold my hand was truly comforting. But when they said, “It’ll sting~,” it didn’t hurt at all, and when they didn’t say anything, it hurt a bit... -_- Even I think I endured it well. I tried to relax as much as possible, and whenever it hurt, I went “ah ah” and flinched, but I endured it until the end;; I couldn’t hear the radio at all... (I did try to focus on it) The doctor was very careful, so I don’t know how many times he had me open and close my eyes; I think I opened and closed them about 30 times.. The surgery took about 1 hour. After the surgery, I got an injection in my buttocks to prevent scarring, heard the precautions, paid, and came home... They told me not to do cold compresses if possible.. I looked in the mirror, and unexpectedly I wasn’t swollen at all;;; They said I’ll swell tomorrow, so I’ll see how swollen I get tomorrow and decide whether to do cold compresses or not.. I wasn’t hungry either, so after getting home I ate a little red bean porridge, took the prescribed medicine, and am drinking pumpkin juice. Tomorrow evening I should wear sunglasses and go for a walk;;; I will never get plastic surgery again. I think the line looks okay. Anyway ..... I finally feel relieved nowㅠㅠㅠㅠ If the swelling goes down a lot and it gets pretty, I’ll upload photos-_- By the way, this is outside Seoul;;
