I had a revision rhinoplasty because my nose looked low and I wanted it higher. In the end, the nose definitely became taller, but the problem was that the tip stretched out a bit long, giving it a slightly beak-like, elongated look that I did not like. At first I thought it would be fine once I got used to it, but even after time passed, it kept bothering me and I felt disappointed every time I looked in the mirror, so I eventually started thinking about revision surgery again. Looking back, I also asked for it to be made higher no matter what, so I think I do bear some responsibility for that choice. That is why, for anyone deliberating about nose surgery, I hope you do not only think about making it higher, but really consider enough whether the height suits your face and overall harmony before deciding. If you make it too high because of trends or greed, you may end up wanting to touch it again like I did, so please think it through very carefully.
