My eyes got much bigger due to canthoplasty side effects, but the scar tissue became so, so, so visible that everyone I met would ask if I had a stye under my eye or what the red area was... After hearing things like that, I searched around and went for surgery because I wanted to get away from this stress, even if it meant my eyes would become smaller. I’m very satisfied with the result, and since the surgery was around the posterior/lower canthoplasty area, it was honestly a bit scary, but even now, after a lot of time has passed, it has held up well and I’m satisfied!!
