I took the photos down, but I keep getting so many messages~~ haha asking me to send photos... so I’m uploading ones I took today.. Today is, so, day 11.. If you’re worried because of swelling.. please read this~ On day 8 after surgery, I met my boyfriend (he lives with 3 older sisters, so he notices things ridiculously fast!! For real.. even more than women, especially when watching TV..) and said I had my wisdom tooth removed... But he said, “You’re a bit swollen though?” Day 9... I met up and hung out with my boyfriend’s friends,, They didn’t say anything.. They had no idea at all.. lol These are people who normally tease me like crazy, calling me a pufferfish when I go out swollen...(Idiot!! Bleh~^^ lol) Today I met a friend .. They told me, “Your face got smaller...” lol My dear thankful friend.. a friend who is usually so stingy with compliments.. said my swelling really went down fast... In my opinion.. if the doctor’s know-how is 50 for swelling, then the patient’s post-op swelling care is 50 too.. For reference, I also went separately to a clinic that manages edema... And I’m on my second box of pumpkin juice.. Until day 5 after surgery, I iced my face until it felt like it would get frostbite.. When the doctor said not to wear a compression band and to use hot packs~ I went to jjimjilbang, got massages, and did half-body baths.. That’s what I did.. Now I just go around and people don’t even pay attention.. I really followed instructions to an almost ignorant degree... I hope this helps.. Oh! And for those who asked if it hurts... If I said cutting bone doesn’t hurt, that would be a total lie... But it hurts less than I expected.. Until day 3, my jaw felt a little heavy and stiff.. about that much... After day 3 it became bearable and I really wanted to eat something.. but my mouth wouldn’t open the way I wanted... I was sad... But starting from about the day before yesterday, my mouth opens really well, so I scooped up rice with a big spoon and ate it... Ah~ so happy~!!^^ It’s only day 11, so there must still be a lot of swelling left, but I could feel that it was smaller than before surgery... Once the swelling goes down, my face will get a bit smaller, right?... lol These days I’m really into playing the game of covering my face with my palm while looking in the mirror... If I get the chance, I’m going to try covering my face with a CD, the thing they say only celebrities can do.. lolol That might be a bit much though.. Hope this helps a lot... Oh! Yes.. I had the side jaw and front jaw contoured and shaved, and I didn’t do cheekbones...
