Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

1 year and 6 months after intraoral-incision square jaw surgery..

In early February last year, I had my square jaw cut through an intraoral incision. For me, the bone was one thing, but first of all my muscles were also very large, so I had Botox done as well. Since it has been over a year since I got Botox, the muscle has gotten bigger again, so I’m preparing to get Botox again. What I felt after having the surgery is.. The anxiety you feel for 1 year after surgery is natural, but you still have to wait and see^^ I was also extremely anxious, in a lot of pain, swollen, and the sensation was stiff and sore.. Now that a year and a half has passed, most of the noticeable swelling is almost gone, and the wound inside my mouth is clean. Unless someone forces my mouth open and looks closely, the scar is deep inside haha But.. Just as when a bone breaks, ossification progresses and it attaches again.. I knew that the cut area would also undergo ossification and become slightly larger.. From the outside, no one can tell.. But when I touch it with my hand, one side has undergone slightly more ossification than the other, so if I feel deeply under the ear, I can feel it protrudes a little more, and that upsets me.. I’m finding it hard to go back to the hospital for a consultation.. because I worry, what if they say to have revision surgery.. what if I have to pay the surgery cost.. what should I do.. After a year and a half, most swelling is almost gone. I managed things from early on because I really didn’t want to swell, so maybe that’s why I had almost no swelling. Those who had surgery.. You’re very anxious, right? Time is medicine ^^ㅋ I’m also curious how it will change after another 6 months.. I’m thinking maybe I should gather courage and go to the hospital once.. Everyone, fighting!!^-^ The photos are in the photo room, so please refer to them^^
