So the doctor told me to choose between these two options: 1. Under-eye fat repositioning + under-eye fat grafting -> improves only the dark circles 2. Full-face fat grafting -> my under-eye fat issue wasn’t severe, so it would be okay to do it later I also had a consultation at another clinic, and they quoted 2.4 million won just for under-eye fat repositioning + under-eye fat graftingㅠㅠ For that money, I thought I’d rather just do under-eye fat repositioning and full-face fat grafting together at this clinic So after thinking it over, I just did the under-eye fat repositioning and full-face fat grafting together! Even if it went over budget, since I was already going under anesthesiaㅜ I thought I might as well just do them together haha <Surgery review - day of surgery> After surgery yesterday, I lay in the recovery room for about an hour, then looked in the mirror for the first time and was surprised because my face was much more swollen than I expectedㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋ My cheekbone area was so swollen that I was like, huh... is this what the fat grafting turned into? I was shocked, but it seemed to be swelling from the under-eye fat repositioning Because the other grafted areas, like my forehead and side cheeks, barely had any swelling, to the point where I wondered if there was too little change, so I think the cheekbone swelling is not from the fat grafting but from the under-eye fat repositioning -> But I’m disappointed about this part, so I definitely plan to do the second round of fat grafting!! I left the clinic at 4:30, and my eyes kept watering, so it was a bit uncomfortable But this got better a little after 5!! And there was a little bleeding, like tears pooling, but after I gently wiped it a few times with a cotton swab, there was no more bleeding As for my face, the only thing that surprised me was the swelling from the under-eye fat repositioning, but the thighs where they did liposuction hurt so muchㅜㅠ After surgery, the clinic wrapped my thighs with bandages, but the bandage came loose, so when I looked at my thighs to rewrap it, one thigh had a lot of bruising with blood under the skinㅜ It wasn’t pain bad enough to make me regret the surgery, more like pretty severe muscle soreness?? That kind of pain Oof, sitting down and standing up was hard, so when I went to the bathroom I was like, gasp..! Sitting down is harder than standing up haha <Surgery review - next day> They said I could take off the thigh bandage 24 hours after surgery, so I just took it off!! Yesterday my thighs hurt a lot, so I was worried, wow, what if this doesn’t get better quickly, but now it’s gotten a bit better I can even cross my legs! If I rest until tomorrow, I think going to work on Monday won’t be a problem!! The under-eye swelling also seems to have gone down a little compared to yesterday For my forehead, they didn’t put it in the center, but above the eyebrows where it connects toward the temples, and I can see a slight protrusion and there is very faint bruising The under-eye area is covered by tape so I can’t see it well, but it looks like there is a slight bluish bruise there! Anyway, it’s still only the day after surgery, but regarding the facial fat grafting, I feel half relieved that I don’t think I need to worry about it being too much, and half disappointed that there may be too little change Well, if I’m disappointed, I can ask them to fill it more during the second round~~ Oh, and they said for the second round of fat grafting too, it’s better to extract fresh fat and use it right away, but oof, thinking about how much my thighs hurt yesterday and today, I think I’d rather just use frozen fatㅜㅠ I’m just planning to do the second round with frozen fat in 2 months In a week, when I remove the under-eye fat repositioning tape, if anything has changed, I’ll come write another review~~
