This was really a long time ago, but I’ve been looking into double eyelid surgery these days and it came to mind, so I’m writing about it. My very first surgery was around age 25, after my mom looked into it for me, and I had it done at a really famous plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong. It’s still famous now. I had no knowledge at all about plastic surgery and just did it because my mom told me to, and I had epicanthoplasty and buried-suture double eyelid surgery. But the epicanthoplasty wasn’t done properly, so the Mongolian folds stayed the same, and the buried-suture double eyelids came undone after 3 years lol An older acquaintance of mine had the buried-suture method and it looked pretty, so I went for revision surgery~ But maybe the doctor was busy, because even though I went after making a consultation appointment, I waited for ages, and the funny thing is that he came out during surgery to consult with me lol In the end, he even left in the middle during my surgery too! Eventually this one also came undone after a few years. I just lived like that, and now I’m looking into getting revision surgery again. Is the buried-suture method just unavoidable?
