One of my eyes was a bit thicker and had an outline, and I thought my epicanthoplasty had been overdone, so I chose this clinic for revision surgery. The doctor said my upper eyelid skin had enough laxity, that an inline crease was fully possible, that lowering the line was possible, and talked as if it wasn’t a particularly difficult surgery. I haven’t had much plastic surgery. This was a revision after 14 years. Later, I found out that double-eyelid incisional release is a last-resort method used when there is no skin laxity and nothing else can be done. He was full of confidence. I had revision surgery. It was a complete disaster. I got uneven sausage eyes worse than before. Lagophthalmos developed. For the epicanthoplasty restoration, I got the amazing result of one side being blocked and the other side becoming even deeper. It is my fault for having surgery after only looking at before-and-after reviews.
