About 2 years ago, I had revision rhinoplasty with the head director at ㅊㄷㅇ. To start with the conclusion, I’m now planning to have a 3rd surgery, so I joined this community and am writing a review.
At first, the consultant talked with me about my nose shape, and then I think I saw the director for about 10 minutes? Maybe less. From the start, my concerns were my nasal tip and crooked nose, and when I brought photos of the shape I wanted and showed them, he said this could be done like this and that could be done like that. I trusted them and just went ahead with it. (My ignorant self is the guilty one.)
After getting it done, my nose was still crooked and my nostrils were uneven?? So I went back, and they said a crooked nose originally can’t be made perfect, and that my nostrils had already been uneven to begin with. They said more swelling would go down over time and to come back later. The tone was kind of like, “It was already like that, so what do you want us to do?”
So I just lived with it until now. It turns out my nose had severe nasal septal deviation, and that was the cause of the uneven nostrils + crooked nose. I found that out this time when I went for consultations at ㅈㅇㅈ and ㅂㄹㅋ. They asked me how I had lived like this all this time. No wonder, after my surgery, I could see cartilage through one nostril.
What I’m wondering is, if my concern was originally a crooked nose, shouldn’t they have told me about that kind of thing..? Their attitude was kind of like, “We did what you asked for, and your nose was originally like that,” which I also didn’t like...
This got long and disorganized, but personally I don’t recommend them. If it were someone I knew, I’d strongly talk them out of it. The aftercare was bad, and what’s the point of doing it closed if I don’t like the shape and my nasal septal deviation got worse? Even now, after surgery, I can see cartilage through my nostril. After going to consultations, I’m even more stressed.
