Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

3-month review after double-jaw surgery at the oral and maxillofacial clinic, I’m satisfied!!

For my first-month review, it felt like, it’s finally been a month… but somehow it’s already been 3 months. lol Hello It’s been 3 months since I had double-jaw surgery and 2 types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw, chin) at the oral and maxillofacial clinic! For the first month right after surgery, eating was difficult, so every single day felt really longㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ But from the second month, I was gradually able to eat, and sensation and movement also kept recovering, so I think time passed much faster!! I usually like food and exercise often, so although there are still some slightly uncomfortable parts, I’ve recovered enough that I can do almost all daily activities now!! Sometimes I absentmindedly try to eat hard foods and then remind myself, I’m still recovering..ㅋㅋㅋ and become carefulㅎㅎ I heard that because I proceeded with postoperative orthodontic correction, chewing would be a bit uncomfortable, but once I actually recovered, my upper and lower occlusion fit well, so there are moments when it actually feels more comfortable than before. After surgery, I didn’t have big expectations for changes in appearance, so I only told the director to please take good care of me, but it came out naturally, so I’m really satisfied! Everyone says my face has changed a lot, but they don’t really know I had surgery and say, “Is it because of orthodontic treatment?”ㅎㅎ The biggest change I feel in daily life is when taking photos. Before, my jaw stood out, so taking photos felt a bit burdensome, but now my face comes out naturally, so when I go somewhere, I actually want to take commemorative photos firstㅋㅋㅋ It’s a small change, but I think I’ve gained a lot of confidence from things like this. I was told the bone occlusion has not completely fused yet, so there are still some things I need to be careful about, but subjectively, the foreign-body feeling is almost gone like before surgery, so having had double-jaw surgery feels like a dream! I think online, double-jaw surgery still has a strong image of being scary and difficult, but after actually experiencing it, it was much safer than I thought, and the recovery process was also tolerable enough. If there are people who are 고민 like I was, personally I’d really strongly recommend it :) Director Lee Seok-jae at the oral and maxillofacial clinic is the god of double-jaw surgery!!
