After worrying about square jaw + cheekbones for several years, I finally went for a consultation haha The criteria I used to choose the clinic were: 1. It must not be factory-style. Since it was a one-doctor clinic, it felt trustworthy. 2. A long amount of time to meet directly with the doctor during the consultation. 3. Good reviews and an aesthetic sense similar to mine (natural-looking). I think this much is information everyone can find out by searching around, so I’ll also share the information I want to tell you haha First of all, both the doctor and the staff were all kind. I consulted with the doctor, and it felt comfortable, like talking with an older male cousin who had become a facial contouring specialist. I think there was a lot of back-and-forth with questions and answers. When you make an appointment by phone and visit with your ID, you fill out a simple questionnaire, and it seemed like the price changes depending on the referral route. For reference, I said it was through this community ㅠㅠ but on other apps, you could get facial contouring done cheaper…. I lost a few hundred thousand won..,, When everyone here makes a reservation, I think it would be good to compare prices here and there and also try negotiating on-site. After filling out the questionnaire, you get a CT scan and consult with the doctor. I was able to have the consultation quietly in a private room, and the CT showed everything, from the bones to the fat attached to the face, so it was really good for the consultation. I thought my face looked broad because of my bones, but I found out it was because I had a lot of facial fat lol. My front chin was short and I did have a bit of a square jaw, but my aesthetic absolutely requires having a jawline under the ears, and I really liked my current side profile. When I told him this, the doctor said then let’s not do square jaw surgery, because even touching it a little could change the angle. Instead, since I had a lot of facial fat, he said even just facial liposuction would have a good effect lol. I also showed him a photo of a model with the jaw I wanted, and it was so nice because we could discuss things in detail while looking at it. I recommend everyone prepare photos or drawings to bring. I asked if I could come back later for facial contouring if I didn’t get the head/face shape I wanted after facial liposuction, but he confidently said cheekbones + facial liposuction alone would be enough, which reassured me. He also emphasized that because of the look I’m going for, he does not recommend jaw contouring, so I felt like there was no overtreatment here, and it felt trustworthy! Also, the doctor held and checked my square jaw area (cheek fat), and I liked that he seemed to consult by actually touching the face, not just checking the surgical area through photos or visually haha. The doctor seemed worried that clients might dislike having their cheeks touched haha. I thought that when everyone gets a consultation here, it would be even better to actively ask questions and request the style you want haha I had my first consultation today, and I liked it, so without even looking at a second place, I decided to have surgery right away on Monday haha. I’ll bring a review after surgery!
