It’s been 1 month since I had revision rhinoplasty (silicone replacement * donated costal cartilage * septal cartilage) and three facial contouring procedures (cortical osteotomy, masseter reduction) at a plastic surgery clinic near Sinnonhyeon Station! My face was large with a bony, uneven shape, so it had a strong androgynous feel. No matter how femininely I styled myself, I didn’t like it. I had tried contouring injections and Botox treatments too, but they had no effect, and I got stressed every time I took photos, so I decided to get facial contouring surgery. For my nose, I had bulbous nose surgery before because I wanted it to look slimmer, but it still had a very blunt, bulbous feel. Dr. Song has a lot of experience and is well known for noses, so I had my nasal tip done together as well! The reason I chose this clinic was that I first visited through a friend’s recommendation. During the consultation, even though I hadn’t shown any photos, they immediately described the look I wanted, and my aesthetic preference seemed similar to the director’s, so I thought, this is the place..! What I liked most was that they tried to match my desired needs as much as possible. And since I thought it would be good to do my nose together while doing facial contouring, I went for a separate consultation. They said my nasal bridge was already on the higher side and my skin was on the thicker side, so there wouldn’t be a huge difference. Unexpectedly, the director didn’t really recommend the nose surgery, but said that if I wanted it, they would match the line as much as possible. After looking at the director’s reviews, it seemed like they were good at creating a naturally glamorous line, so after much thought I eventually did it together, and in the end I’m truly satisfied!!! Even photos taken with the basic camera don’t need editing, which is honestly the best. I still have quite a bit of swelling, but there is not even a little unevenness in my face, and my nose line is really... I’m happy. People around me who know I had surgery say it turned out so well, and that my overall vibe changed to look more feminine! People who didn’t know also said my vibe changed a lot and many asked if I had lost weight haha For the surgical areas, as the hospital instructed, I mainly used mouthwash and ate mostly liquid foods. Maybe I’m just suited to surgery, but the bruising also disappeared in just 2-3 days, so when I wore a mask, nobody could tell. I only rested for a few days before going back to work, but since my job requires me to stand all day, maybe my blood circulation happened naturally, because I think my swelling is low for one month post-op! I do regret not doing it when I was a little younger, but I have absolutely no regrets about having the surgery and I’m so satisfied!! Since my face shape and nose, which had been complexes for me for a long time, were resolved at once, I’m truly happy every time I look in the mirror.. Thank you so much, Dr. Park and Dr. Song, for resolving my complexes, really!!!!
