Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Chin tip + cheekbones

I had cheekbone surgery and long-chin surgery with Director Seo Beom-sin at Made Young Plastic Surgery. My biggest concern was my long face, and I had considered adding square-jaw shaving when I had surgery. But during the consultation, Director Seo Beom-sin considered my midface length and overall proportions and recommended that it would be better to leave out square-jaw surgery and do only chin-tip surgery + cheekbone surgery. Rather than automatically recommending all three facial-contouring procedures, he clearly distinguished what I needed and what I did not need, and recommended a plan tailored to my facial balance. From a patient’s perspective, I felt that he was consulting with genuine care, which really moved me. Since he specializes professionally in facial-contouring surgery, I trusted him even more.

In the early period before 1 month after surgery, there was still swelling in my cheeks, as if I were holding candy in my mouth, but as time passed, the swelling went down well. When seen from a 45-degree side angle, my impression looks much softer. Now about 90% of my nerve sensation has returned, so eating is much more comfortable, and I’m eating meat well too.

Between 1 and 3 months, it felt like I had hit a plateau, and the swelling seemed to go down a bit slowly. But after 3 months, the speed of swelling reduction increased, and I could see the lines changing more softly. The line is really defined haha. They say subtle swelling can continue to go down for up to 1 year, so I’m really looking forward to how it will change from here.

This is a surgical review pursuing a natural yet defined look.
