One week to 5 weeks after surgery.. Things I experienced after surgery 1. Change in menstrual cycle: It was delayed by almost 15 days 2. During massage, breast milk came out of my left breast. Enough to bead up when pressed... I was surprised at first, but they say that can happen.^^; Current condition I’ve been doing massage in earnest since week 3. You press firmly and rotate. They say you can do it by yourself, but for me, massage is the hardest. Because my arms hurt. I’m pressing as hard as I can for about 30 minutes. I also lie face down. One tip I learned) When lying face down, if I put a book underneath, it applies stronger compression. Someone said it was good to massage with a graduation album, but I didn’t know exactly how to do it, so I just do it my way. And if I raise the temperature on the jade heating mat and lie face down, I can do warm compresses at the same time. During the day, I use heat packs that stick to clothing. It definitely gets a little softer when it’s warm. As time passes, does it become soft even without warm compresses? Those who are more than 6 months post-op, please leave comments about changes in texture... I had an areolar incision. With the upgraded Omega method... maybe because I did warm compresses well at week 3, the wound healed well, and now that 5 weeks have passed, it is barely noticeable. I showed it to a friend, and she couldn’t really tell. For now, I’m satisfied with the wound area. (I’ll attach photos later) As for my breasts, when I’m not massaging, I feel a tightening sensation in my breasts. I feel like I need to massage diligently, but as a working mom, this is the hardest task for me. I took to heart the doctor’s words that doing it firmly for 30 minutes is more effective than doing it occasionally, but the barriers of reality are too high. (ㅠㅠ) From when I had surgery until now, my breasts haven’t hurt or anything, but now, if I don’t massage, there’s a tightening feeling... and after massaging, it feels refreshing. My husband did it for me twice, and he definitely had strong power. Oh right, I had the surgery without my husband knowing. Around week 3, massage was so hard that I confessed to my husband. After seeing my condition, he laughed out loud. My firm and enlarged breasts must have felt unfamiliar and too funny to him. --; I told him that if I don’t massage, capsular contracture can happen, and he said he would do it even when tired.^^; But when he’s tired, he just sleeps. ㅠㅠ These days I’m listening to my husband well. In case he says he won’t massage for me. --; I’m curious how other people receive massage. I’m not sure whether they spread when I lie down. The doctor says they spread moderately, but for me, not yet... I hoped it would be like the photo of someone whose breasts spread naturally when lying down, but the breast pocket isn’t that large. They say it gets better with time, so I should wait patiently. ^^ I tried radiofrequency massage at a nearby clinic, and the warmth felt good. My breasts also became soft.. But the doctor told me not to do it. He said high-heat radiofrequency could alter the properties of cohesive gel and also affect its lifespan... After hearing that, I couldn’t do it anymore. Anyway, radiofrequency cost 70,000 won per session. --; Usually, if you didn’t have surgery at their clinic, they won’t do massage either. But one hospital in Busan said they would do massage for 50,000 won, so if I have time, I’m going to try going once. I’ll experience whether it hurts or not and post about it.. ^^ My ideal hospital... I think the surgical method I had is good. There is almost no pain. A hospital that provides massage care for up to 1 year... (I think aftercare is important too) I’ll upload photos when I get home. I’m at my friend’s house here. I came for Lunar New Year, slept at my friend’s house, woke up at dawn, and am posting this.
