Ten years ago.. I had my nose and eyes done together in the provinces. The eyes are okay for the most part (compared to how they originally looked.. and there were no side effects.) But the nose started to develop a severe 11-shape a few years ago.. Every time my mom looked at my face, she kept saying my nose was swallowing up my expression, so I finally worked up the courage and had revision surgery. I had it done in Apgujeong.. After consulting at two places, they said they'd correct the crooked nose, remove the silicone, and use Gore-Tex... lower the nasal bridge, reduce the nostrils, and raise the tip. When they talked about lifting the tip, they didn't mention ear cartilage or anything like that... Anyway, right now I can't really see the bridge, so I don't know, but the tip is so swollen it looks like there's some kind of bead inside... maybe it's because of the swelling, or maybe they really made it this big... anyway, I don't like it... I had the surgery the day before yesterday and they blocked my nostrils, so I couldn't sleep at all.. This morning when I woke up, even my eyes had bruising and were hugely swollen, so I'm worried. Actually, I secretly had the surgery because I wouldn't be seeing my boyfriend for two weeks.. but if it shows, it'll be embarrassing... I hope it turns out well... And I wonder if the swelling will go down within those two weeks.. Anyway, if you had a nose surgery from ten years ago, isn't revision usually needed eventually? For surgeries that shave bone or put in implants, I really think you have to think carefully... Even now, I'm scared by thoughts like, will I have to have revision again in ten years.. I kept getting surgery because I hated the old look so much I couldn't even look back at the photos (eyes, nose, facial contouring), but... it's really not something to do lightly. And it's not like you become unbelievably pretty either, because the foundation was... I hope this is the last time... it costs a lot too... Still, I'm glad there are places like this where I can vent and get comfort... I'm really nervous right now.. To everyone who has had revision surgery, hang in there~
