I had always had a severely recessed chin, so my side profile was a complex for me, and from the front, my face looked too round because of my lateral cheekbones and recessed chin. That led me to get sliding genioplasty. After looking through many reviews and results, Yang Yoon-dol seemed quite good, so I immediately scheduled a consultation and went in. During the consultation, they kindly explained everything one by one, and I was able to understand the causes of several issues with my face. However, they said that just doing the chin tip would be enough, so after a lot of thought, I decided to proceed with only sliding genioplasty. My satisfaction after surgery is good. One month after surgery, my lower face still felt swollen, but now that it has been 8 months, it has completely settled in like my own chin. All the swelling is gone. It was the first surgery of my life, so I was really worried, but the hospital consultant and doctor were kind, so it was okay. I was worried it would hurt a lot after surgery, but maybe because of the anesthesia, it did not hurt for me. Even when the anesthesia wore off, it did not hurt. After surgery, everyone asks if I lost weight. Since the surgery is done through the inside of the mouth, there are no visible signs at all, and everyone thinks I lost weight. Even before the swelling went down, it felt like my own chin, but now that almost all the swelling has gone down, I just look completely like I was born this way. People around me all said I became prettier. These days, my confidence in my appearance has gone up too, so I am spending each day happily. If you have a serious complex about a recessed chin, I think it would not be bad to consider it once.
