Nose Surgery Reviews

Seriously help me choose a revision hospital (ㅂㅇㄈ/ㄴㅇㄷ) consultation review

First I had my first rhinoplasty in my 20s, and now I’m in my 30s. At that first surgery, I wanted the bridge to be higher and look pretty even if it was noticeable, because I didn’t like having a low bridge. Since then, my preference has shifted to more natural, and the things I dislike are The rhinion starting point is way too high, the nostrils look slightly off, the tip is too round, and though the nose is not large and is rather small, it looks like a small punchy nose from the front, and the bridge looks thick. I can still feel the filler I had dissolved during the first surgery. My baseline condition is slightly upturned/deviated, skin is thin, and no obvious hump.

So anyway, since I’m changing jobs and have some time, I went for a consult to remodel my nose. The one I liked best was: 1. ㅂㅇㄈ (Apgujeong) It’s true—the consultation wait there is really very long. I had done this last year and forgot, and then got a call and went for consultation. The doctor took photos and sketched lines while consulting. His consult was short but full of content. The drawn line was pretty. Then, as key points, he pointed out the parts I didn’t like: the bridge start and tip (he said something like, “Your tip looks like a cherry tomato is hanging on~,” lol) He suggested lowering the starting point, shaping the tip, and only raising it very slightly. He said possible additions: 비순각 correction and nostril-shape correction. About the filler grains: can remove them if needed, or not. He said I probably don’t need rib cartilage, and he said he won’t use nasal packing either; he was confident swelling would be minimal. Price: revision + 비순각 correction 800 (a bit cheaper with cash; if using rib cartilage, maybe +200 or +250) No review event thing.

After consulting, I thought, again this must be why wait times are this long, and I decided to do it here. But after going home and checking reviews, I saw comments that the symmetry seemed slightly off, and it was so natural-looking that it worried me a bit. The lines were beautiful, but to the point of, is it like just one-line-shaped? The surgery then maybe the next day or the day after, the first disinfection won’t be done by the surgeon. On my next date, I’m not sure if the doctor can fit in because he is so busy. 2. ㄴㅇㄷ (Gangnam Station) At first, I saw the doctor giving lectures in a reel, and after checking a few that looked similar to what I wanted and lines that looked pretty, I went for consultation. CT scan plus consultation fee 20,000. After the CT, I met the doctor. As soon as he saw me, he spoke nonstop like a shaman-like fortune teller, very talkative. It felt like he read my mind, ㅎㄷㄷ, a little creepy. For about 20–30 minutes, he kept explaining the nose’s issues and how to fix them; he seemed very confident. Even though I didn’t fully explain my feelings, he understood too well and I didn’t have much to say. He even matched what my original nose might have looked like. The solution was similar. Lower the start, use a few millimeters of silicone at the tip (forgot exact), keep the tip at current level and refine shape; if you want it raised a lot, you may need rib cartilage. Filler must of course be dissolved (even if it was dissolved before, it can still remain in granule form, so each one has to be punctured and dissolved). Price: 800 (card = cash, 750 if review is posted, extra if rib cartilage is used (forgot since I won’t use), filler dissolving is free) He said the surgeon would definitely handle every treatment step.

What I liked was that his review photos seemed slightly closer to my preferred look. I said slightly semi-straight is fine; on my side, I prefer natural since too flashy feels too much. He said it would feel like something changed, but I can’t tell what exactly. He didn’t draw sample pictures, but the aesthetic points I’m aiming for seemed similar, so it felt like he’d do it well. It’s more reassuring because he took a CT and knows my actual nose condition. My mind is about 55:45 weighted toward the named one. The reason I’m hesitating is because this is a re-do and the nose is already difficult, so I’m thinking maybe at ㅂㅇㄈ it should be made completely natural…? There are rumors, but people say many celebrities go there…? If it has so many reservations, maybe that means they’re really good…? that kind of psychology? Also, I wonder if the doctor at ㄴㅇㄷ is too young…? If it were me, where would you have surgery? If you have surgery experience at ㄴㅇㄷ or ㅂㅇㄈ, feel free to leave it in comments
