After living with contact lenses for over 10 years, my dryness got so severe that I got SMILE LASIK. The surgery took less than 10 minutes, and there was almost no pain. Right after the surgery, my vision was slightly hazy, but after sleeping for a day, the world became clear. It was amazing to see the clock as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning for the first time. I’m now 3 months post-op, maintaining 1.2 vision, and my eye fatigue has also decreased. I really feel like this is what “improved quality of life” means.
