<Before surgery><When I still had the splint on><Most recent>Holy crap, looking at my pre-op photo seriously feels like that trauma from back then is going to come back. Honestly, getting surgery was way better, and for me, first of all, I previously got it done at some awful place, it completely failed, and I ended up with a cheap-looking nose. I went around to consultations like some kind of earthbound spirit, and after seeing the autologous costal cartilage guarantee system and the expected surgery photos that get mentioned a lot in this community, I got tempted too and had the surgeryyy First, the hospital gives you an abdominal binder, but honestly did I wear it for 1?? 2 days? I sweat a lot and feel suffocated even just wearing a bra, so I just didn’t really wear it. I endured it with sheer grit. But I’m not recommending that, you all should wear it properly The main points for my nose were the columella and nasolabial angle, but once I had the splint on I started spiraling mentally, and from then on I probably asked the manager at least 10 times? whether my nose really turned out well, yeah. The splint period was the hardest. For me it was just mentally hard I really want to stop lying on operating tables now, so maybe because I paid a lot for this surgery, still, among all my nose surgeries so far, I think this one matches my aesthetic sense the most. But I don’t like absolutely everything. I do wonder if it would’ve been better with a bit more curve?? It probably couldn’t satisfy everything I wanted, so this much is okay Now, unless contracture happens, my challenge is to live without really worrying about my nose. What do you think, is it okay???
