I had one nose surgery 14 years ago, and back then I had L-shaped silicone at a factory-style clinic, so my nostrils look long like they’re pinched, and my nose is lifted a lot too. I went to several clinics, and what they mostly said was that contracture isn’t certain, but there is a possibility of contracture. Just looking at the shape, it’s lifted and the glabella area is thick, so it looks like contracture, but when they touch it, the tissue doesn’t feel clumped or hard, so it’s ambiguous, that kind of thing. My nose was originally lifted and short, so I’m not sure myself whether it became more lifted or not, and even when I look at old photos, some look similar and some don’t look lifted. Anyway, so this time I’m thinking of removing the silicone and doing revision surgery without an implant, as naturally as possible. I’m older now, and it’s not like I want to become extremely prettier. If it is contracture, leaving it as is will make it rise more and more, so I think now is the timing for revision surgery, and I’m planning to do it. I’m trying to choose among 4 clinics I visited, so this is both a consultation review and I’d like everyone’s opinions just once. I’m a mom, so because of the recovery period, I want to avoid autologous material as much as possible. I already know the pros and cons of autologous versus donated material, so you don’t need to tell me about that part. 1. ㄹㄱ / Director ㅇㅅㄱ Among the places I went, the director and consultant were the kindest, and the consultation time was the longest. They took something, maybe an X-ray or CT scan (it’s been a while so I don’t remember..) They listened well to what I wanted and seemed to try to reflect it as much as possible, but the results seem to be quite glamorous. Since I won’t use silicone anyway and will only use dermis, it probably won’t turn out that way, but I’d like the columella to feel a bit round; however, the reviews generally seem sharp. Donated dermis + ear cartilage, or donated costal cartilage, or both, I don’t remember.. + alar reduction + philtrum lift were recommended. The price was around the middle. 2. ㅇㄷㅇㅇㅇ / Director ㅇㅇㅇ I saw some people in the reviews say he was scary, but not at all for me. The director’s style is very straightforward, cool-guy style. I think this was the consultation where I felt most comfortable with the director. Because of the possibility of contracture, silicone is absolutely not an option, the first surgery was too long ago, and since the silicone will be removed, even if he lowers the lifted nasal tip, it may look a little more spread out and broad than now. But if I can accept that, it would be good to do revision surgery; if I dislike that feeling, don’t do revision surgery. That was the feeling of what he said. He clearly pointed out the limitations. In a way, it had a slightly negative feeling. Because I have a history of rhinitis surgery, he said he doesn’t know the state of the septal cartilage, so after opening it, he’ll decide whether to use septal cartilage or ear cartilage. Surgical method: silicone removal + septal cartilage/ear cartilage for the tip, that’s it. The review photos had the most natural feeling among the clinics. The price was the cheapest. No nasal packing. 3. ㄱㅇㅈ / Director ㄱㅇㅈ He was the oldest, and had exactly the feel of a university hospital professor. His aesthetic preference is very clear (BLACKPINK Jisoo’s nose). He prefers a slightly lifted, not long, round nose. He said if the nostrils don’t show too much, it can look older, so he seems to like a youthful image. The postoperative review photos were the most my style. During the 30-minute consultation, he explained the surgical method at almost thesis level. The surgical method: remove the silicone, extend the nasal tip with ear cartilage + cover the nasal bridge with fascia? from behind the ear, he said. The price was around the middle. No nasal packing. The number of postoperative visits was the highest. 4. ㅇㅈ / Director ㅇㅇㅈ Before going, I thought this place would be the kindest, but the director seemed a bit blunt. He answered all the explanations and questions well, but the consultation time was the shortest. They usually do nasal packing, but said if I don’t want it, they won’t do it. He mentioned the possibility of contracture and said he would use donated costal cartilage + ear cartilage + do alar lifting because the alar base was drooping. He said alar lifting is done through an internal incision, so there is no scar. The price was the most expensive among the places I visited. After hearing the price, I forgot all the details.. Right now I’m most drawn to either number 2 or 3. Number 3’s postoperative review photos are closest to the shape I want, but the surgical method for 2 and 3 is the same, so I’m wondering if I should just go with the cheapest, number 2, since it might be similar. If anyone has had surgery here, please share your opinion.
만두밥 If the surgical methods are similar, I think I’d do it at the place with the lowest cost. It’s also a place that does a lot of revision surgeriesㅇㅇ How much did they quote?
나 You went to the well-known places
캘이 [@] The cheapest was 5.8 million, and the most expensive place was 9 million
캘이 [@캘이] The other two were both 7 million
illliillli… I recommend 3. I was also deciding between 2, 3, and 4

홍홍홍2홍 I have a consultation scheduled at ㄹㄱ, so I’ll keep this in mind before going. I heard they reflect your needs well, and I guess they really do a decent job. I’m getting revision surgery too, so I have quite a lot of things I want
캘이 [@유웅지니] Yeah, that’s right
클라우드맘 I also got a good feeling after the consultation, so I had nose revision surgery at ㄹㄱ, but now it’s completely ruined.. I’m preparing for a third surgery....

캘이 [@] I still haven’t decided
캘이 [@홍홍홍2홍] Mine is almost just removal, so it’s simple, but I’m still torn..
캘이 [@illliilllii] I’m also most drawn to #3.
