Sausage eyes revision and first nose surgery consultation review

I’m finally writing one of these too!!! I went around for consultations in early June, and now I’ve chosen a clinic, had surgery, and I’m recovering while the swelling goes down.

- My eye/nose features and the style I wanted Eyes: I had incision double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction before, but it came undone and became sausage eyes. My eyelid skin is sagging, so my eyes look slightly sleepy. My eyebrows and eyes are close together > I wanted a refreshing semi-out line like Jang Wonyoung

Nose: upturned nose, short/upturned nose, hump > My goal was for my nostrils not to show much, so I had no intention of raising the bridge. I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved nose, and because I was scared of side effects, I absolutely wanted no implant.

------------------- Gangnam-gu ㄹoㅌ I went for a consultation intending to do only my nose, but the consultant recommended other surgeries too. The way she explained things was like a director. She explained things professionally. There was pressure to pay a reservation deposit.

Nose: Osteotomy to correct the crooked part, shave the hump, and alar reduction was unnecessary because it could make the face look bigger, so considering balance, it wasn’t needed.

What I didn’t like: They recommended a lot of different things, saying I needed osteotomy, that I had no fat in my cheeks so I needed fat grafting along with under-eye fat repositioning, etc. They seriously talked about osteotomy because they said my nose was crooked >> It was my first time hearing that my nose was crooked, so I was very flustered.

------------------- Gangnam-gu ㅍㄹㅇㅂ

I liked their semi-out eyes, so I went because of the eyes. Copy-pasting what I wrote down at the time.

Director: Having nose surgery won’t make the hump stand out more. But know that after surgery, it may look more noticeable to your own eyes. How many people have perfectly straight noses? This is not even really crooked. If it doesn’t bother you, you don’t have to do it. I don’t recommend osteotomy.

For the eyes, because the distance between the eyes and eyebrows is close, you can’t do a high line. It will become a sausage line. If you do a high semi-out line, the scar from the incisional part may make it look like two lines. To make it look as refreshing as possible with a semi-out line, you’d need an upper canthoplasty to make it look more opened up.

There was slight pressure to make a reservation.

They took a nose CT and explained while looking at it. You can see the size of the septal cartilage with this. CT fee was free.

Director: Explained the eyes and nose exactly the same as ㅍㄹㅇㅂ. But they recommended silicone. They said if only the tip is done, there will be a step-off, so let’s put in just 1 mm to compensate for the step-off.

Another place said my nose was crooked. Do I need osteotomy? If I put in an implant, will it rotate or anything? Director/consultant: Look at the CT. The axis is straight, isn’t it? You don’t need osteotomy. Everyone is slightly off. There’s no need for osteotomy. Which clinic was that?

The price range was really high.. I was shocked. No pressure for a reservation fee.

-------------- Gangnam-gu ㄷㄷ ㅋ (2 letters)

I hadn’t even considered this place, and just had time left, so I picked a nearby plastic surgery clinic at random, like spinning a wheel.

Director/consultant: You don’t need ptosis correction. It only looks like your eyes don’t open because the upper eyelid area is covering them. It’s because the eyes came undone, but they said they are sausage eyes. If you make the line higher than now, it’ll become a big sausage. So if you lower the line, it could become a small sausage. If you want a high double-eyelid line, you need a forehead lift. If you hate sausage eyes, don’t have surgery and just live as is.

For the nose, if you lower it too much, it can look masculine, so it would be better to lower it just slightly and make it feminine and pretty. It would be pretty with just 1 mm of silicone, but if you don’t want it, then don’t. And if you slightly reduce the alars and attach them while lifting, the nostrils will show less.

They tried holding the eye line a lot. Held my forehead, had me move my eyes.. They checked various things, including my eye-opening strength. They spoke realistically.

No reservation pressure.

The end..
