I had the behind-the-ear procedure yesterday.

After seeing the photos, I really thought it wouldn’t swell at all, but that’s not the case.. It swells, it swells,, When you go home, they put on a huge gauze dressing, so I think it would be absolutely difficult to use public transportation. I bought a mask on the way, but unless it’s a mask that covers up to the ears, it probably won’t work. Still,, compared with an incision inside the mouth, the swelling is probably nothing. Because I’m an office worker.. Lessons from surgery: 1. Don’t act like you’re definitely going to have surgery at that clinic. (They aren’t very kind, they don’t explain in detail, and bargaining doesn’t work. 2. Don’t trust the internet. At first, I only looked at posts with photos too.. Long posts were annoying, so I didn’t read them. I regret it. And,, reviews on that clinic’s website may not all be like this, but there is a high possibility they were fabricated or posted on someone else’s behalf.. so don’t be 100% certain! Internet photos are just photos.. Photos can be exaggerated or understated. I want to upload mine too, but when I took a photo, my face came out looking like it wasn’t swollen. I’m originally the type who doesn’t swell much, but it’s more swollen than in the photo, so I’ll check later and upload it. 3. Keep making requests. I paid my own money and didn’t get even a single penny discounted, but I felt self-conscious and held back.. so I regret it for no reason. Let’s get what we can. In Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, it said to make a big request at the beginning. Cosmetic surgery has become such a marketplace, but.. Really, visiting clinics yourself is the safest, and next is reputation.. A local clinic really is a local clinic.. No matter how much they say Gangnam or Apgujeong, it’s only the location that is Gangnam or Apgujeong; when you actually go inside.. it’s just a local clinic.. Big hospitals, famous hospitals are famous for a reason.. 4. Do it safely. This is the most important item!! They say sleep anesthesia just doesn’t put a tube down your throat, but the medication that goes in is also used for general anesthesia. I strongly recommend a clinic that has an anesthesiologist. There is a reason each specialty exists.. I really understand how people feel when they write harsh posts about brokers. People who upload photos here.. Most of them want to show off their before/after photos and gain confidence from their improved appearance. But let’s really not fall for shameless brokers. I think we should be especially careful of people who plaster photos across internet clubs here and there. Being careful and suspicious doesn’t hurt. At the point a little over 24 hours after surgery..
