There was no waiting time at all, and after taking a CT scan, I went straight into the consultation with the director. I felt that the director was kind. I thought I had brought fairly good reference photos, but he said the nasolabial angle and the shape or degree of projection of the columella were slightly different in each photo, so he kept adjusting the desired look with me while showing me in-clinic before-and-after photos and photos from portal sites. It was the same for the bulbous nose correction. He asked which was more important: avoiding a pinched nostril look or achieving definite bulbous nose correction, and he helped find a middle ground. He explained the surgical method in extremely detailed terms. This was the first doctor who even explained things like what tissue would need to be excised and how if the nose does not come together well during bulbous nose correction. The clinic atmosphere was not noisy and was clean, and the overall service and atmosphere were very good. Personally, I don’t want to have surgery at a clinic that books a ton of appointments at the same time and just makes people wait indefinitely, and there was not even 0.1% of that here. I’m okay with waiting, but I dislike it because I worry they might handle the surgery appointment that way too, and it was not like that at all. The consultation with the manager was also not the kind where hundreds of thousands of won go back and forth based on medical consultation or discounts conditional on photo disclosure. She simply summarized the surgical plan, told me the price, asked when I planned to have surgery, and answered my questions. The clinic system itself did not have a system where the quote jumps by hundreds of thousands of won with every word, while talking about in-clinic medical this, disclosure that, app reviews, and so on. The fixed-price system felt very trustworthy. When I checked the website, cases with discounts conditional on photo disclosure were being recruited separately altogether. CCTV viewing is available (but you cannot receive the file), and an anesthesiologist is on site. They had a very large number of before-and-after photos, and they said they perform almost only about one surgery per day. Expected surgery time was about 90 minutes. The transparent pricing, the director’s meticulousness, the fact that they seem quite safety-oriented, the before-and-after photos looked natural, and especially that the columellar incision scar was relatively almost absent make this likely to become one of my final candidate clinics.
