I had my first surgery using septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and honestly, because my nose was way too long and pointy toward the front + I had a columella-cutting-looking symptom (where the columella becomes a straight line as if cut with a knife), I had everything removed last week. The septal cartilage was all removed, but the director said the ear cartilage could be lightly placed because there could be a dent at the nasal tip, so it was placed and closed. Cartilage repositioning was also done. Right now it’s day 11, but my nose is still long and pointy toward the front, and maybe because of the step-off at the area where the ear cartilage was placed, when I take a side photo from the left it looks even pointier.. The columella-cutting-looking symptom also hasn’t improved.. My original nose had a very descended columella, so if I had total removal, I really wasn’t worried about the columella, but right now I’m so shocked that I couldn’t work all day at the office, and after coming home I’m just continuously searching for reviews, taking photos by myself, and crying.. Is this still because of swelling? Since all the septal cartilage was removed, the length itself got shorter, but that forward, elongated shape I absolutely hate (a slight pointiness) + the columella-cutting-looking symptom is driving me crazy.. Will my nose become a bit rounder and stop looking so long toward the front as time passes.. Or was it tied too high during the cartilage repositioning.. Or is the one piece of ear cartilage placed after removing everything affecting it.. I really never want revision surgery again, but this is so hard
하띵이 A pointy nose definitely becomes rounder. Mine was so damn pointy that my family was like, what is that, but now it’s relatively much rounder. But I don’t know about the columella.
